You may have noticed that the Google Maps team is pretty interested in politics. On the flip side, we’ve discovered a politician who is enthusiastic about maps. Senator Ben Nelson has been creating My Maps to communicate and connect with his Nebraska constituents. He has made maps to share photos, videos, and insight from a trip to Iraq; to showcase attractions in Nebraska; and to highlight the volunteer work that students statewide are doing over spring break.
